Singles Encounter SE-17 Grand Reunion
Grand Reunion November 22, 2025
Recently, last Saturday November 22, BLD Long Island joyfully celebrated the Grand Reunion of Singles Encounter No. 17, a gathering filled with gratitude, renewal, and the spirit of togetherness. After their original encounter weekend, this vibrant group shared with us a beautiful presentation, combining poetic and inspiring verse about their experiences, testimonies, and blessings, with a moving rendition of “Run to the Father”. The presentation highlighted a day of warm comradery, fellowship, and shared reflections, as well as a favorite BLD pastime, dinner.
It was refreshing to reconnect with all our new friends, and to rekindle the fire of the Holy Spirit within the community. Through all the activities, the reunion invited us all to look back with thanksgiving and move forward with renewed purpose. As Singles Encounter 17 convened with us in the spirit of inspiration and jubilation, the whole community continues to celebrate God’s faithfulness and the enduring call to serve, grow, and witness His love in all aspects of life.

The Bukas Loob sa Diyos Covenant, (BLD), Community is a vibrant Catholic charismatic community. Founded in 1985 in Manila, we are dedicated to fostering spiritual growth. Our mission emphasizes the importance of community engagement and evangelistic outreach. BLD Rockville Centre, (or BLD Long Island), represents the Long Island, New York chapter of BLD in the United States. We are in the Diocese of Rockville Centre, NY, and meet at St, Aidan Catholic Church in Williston Park, New York.
