Singles Encounter # 3 Celebrates Its 3rd Year Anniversary
The class of SE # 3 celebrated its 3rd year anniversary at the home of Tito Horace and Tita Espie Eclipse in Plainview, Long Island last Sunday, August 14, 2005. The class members able to attend that afternoon were Mon Rejano, Lani Buhian, Leizel Laserna, Che Siy, Carlo Creus, Anna Ira, and Pat Farcon. Worship was jointly led by the members of the class that were in attendance. Their worship was highlighted by a beautiful sharing by their own Carlo Creus who touched the hearts of all that were present. After the sharing, all were invited to heal and forgive any hurts they may have experienced or were harboring in their hearts. At the end of the worship there was not a dry eye in attendance. All were so touched and moved by the experience.
Following the worship, those in attendance also celebrated the birthday of Kim Eclipse. She was surprised by additional family members joining the fellowship as well as a few additional members of the BLD community which included Tito Conrad and Tita Thelma Clarin, Joel Santos, Carrie Matillano, Alan Creus, Gia Santos, Steve Joseph, Ivy St. Maria and Alona Alagano.
The members of SE # 3 have continued to grow in the Singles Ministry as well as in the BLD-LI community as a whole. They have progressed through LSS, the service ministry, as well as the intercessory ministry. They have all been assigned their own permanent positions in their respective community ministries. They all continue to grow in their faith as well as in their fellowship with one another. SE # 3 has grown into a family of believers that continue to support each other and take great pleasure in serving our Lord!
"Come, let us sing joyfully to the Lord; let us acclaim the Rock of our salvation. Let us greet Him with thanksgiving; let us joyfully sing psalms to Him for the Lord is a great God, and a great king above all gods;

How comforting are Your words: "I am with You and…I will not leave You." Thank You, Lord, for looking down from Heaven having pity on us. How grateful we are that You cared to be present in our midst over the SE -6 weekend. How gracious You are to all those who call on Your name. How merciful You are to those who place their trust in You. Reach out Your hand one more time to those who have not yet responded to Your Love and forgiveness.
Thank You for generously pouring out Your holy Spirit, who lives within us to strengthen and empower us. Thank You for pouring out Your love on us and answering our cry for help. Your light, Jesus, shined brightly to the Singles Ministry on June 10, 11, & 12, 2005. Thank You for loving us. You've touch the hearts and lives of the16 new members of the SE -6, indeed, a bountiful and fruitful harvest. Thank You for calling them to our community. You showed us how forgiving, faithful, and powerful You are throughout the entire victorious encounter retreat.
Lord, we may have felt physically tired on Sunday, but spiritually strong because with You is rest, tranquility, and comfort. You continue to fill our hearts with Your peace. Thank You, Lord, for everything! We will forever give You praise!
From the bottom of our hearts we extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and everyone who participated and contributed to the huge success of this blessed SE #6 Weekend. We thank our Pastoral team, our Spiritual Director, Fr. Paul Lehman, our Facilitators, Pat Farcon, Cherilyn Siy, Kim Eclipse, Alan Creus, Det Teofisto, the BLD- LI Singles Praise Ministry, the Intercessory Ministry, the sponsoring class of SE #5, Alona, Maan, Nickie, Eric, Cez, Mhei, Gia, Christine, Man, Myk, Mike A., Allan B., Edel, & Lizzie; all the auxies, Jimmy, Ray, especially Estel, Elie, and Charlie for a superb job in Food Service. We also thank the whole community for their love, support, prayers and love offerings. It is our goal to continue to bring the light of Christ to shine before all members of the Singles Ministry. For He Himself will lead and guide us.
